"the best days of your life can't happen without you there live with presence live intentionally" ~ yung pueblo Beautiful beings, Last week's newsletter focused on the idea of "unmerited grace." Thank you for the powerful, expansive conversations around this idea. I appreciate so many of you reaching out. For me, incorporating this concept into daily interactions has been interesting, challenging, and rewarding. And, if I'm going to get better at this? I'll need to flex this muscle more often. Extending unmerited grace doesn't always come naturally. Especially when I am stressed, or hurried, or distracted. Our conversations have furthered my thinking. How would our lives be different if we could extend unmerited grace to ourselves?

"We all need mercy, we all need justice, and--perhaps—we all need some measure of unmerited grace." ~ Bryan Stevenson Beautiful friends, Thank you for meeting me here! A quick refresher: last week we took time to get still. To tune in. And to explore the healing power of love. If you missed it, or simply want to revisit the power of Padma Mudra, you can easily access last week's newsletter here. Today I want to further the exploration of what it means to be a loving person in today's world. Maybe it's the constant thrum of divisive news, or the ongoing conversations surrounding polarization, or simply the fact that Mike and I finally busted out of our bubble for a weekend away . . . but I've been thinking a lot about how to remain a source of light and love in every day life. “Don’t move the way fear makes you move. Move the way love makes you move. Move the way joy makes you move.” ~ Osho Hello, beautiful beings! Today, I want to talk about the greatest healing energy there is on Earth: LOVE. For most of my life, I believed love existed somewhere outside of myself. If I wanted more of it? I had to find ways to get it from someone else. I spent time seeking external validation through people-pleasing and other behaviors that separated me from my True Self. When we are disconnected from our highest, best self, then we are not at ease in our own body. This dis-ease in the body? It wants to find a way back to wholeness and wellness. I now know that when I experience feelings of love, those are my feelings. The love exists inside of me. It is the most amazing, most powerful energy . . . and, it heals. I want to be clear. I view compassion, kindness, empathy, and connection as forms of love, and I believe that all forms of love are healing. Click here to learn how to tip the scales from fear towards love.
"Yoga with Michelle in Tuscany doesn’t get better. She makes a novice feel comfortable in these beautiful surroundings." ~ K.D. Ciao Bella! Waayyyyyyyyy back in 2019 B.C. (Before Covid), there was a tour of Tuscany. There was food. And wine. We strolled, taking in the sights during our architectural tours. We lingered for an afternoon in an olive oil grove and were delighted by the five-course home-cooked meal that followed. There was shopping in vibrant marketplaces. Luxurious lodging. Incredible pools and spas. A cooking class at an Italian estate where we learned to fry sage leaves and make raviolis. Each morning began with movement, breath, and meditation. The views from the yoga mat cannot be explained, nor captured in photos. The tour was good. So. So. Good. Well, guess what friends? Tuscany 2022 is ON! Learn more about Yoga, Food, and Wine in Tuscany here. Sign up is easy, and I'd love for you to join me!
