"A woman in harmony with her spirit is like a river flowing. She goes where she will without pretense and arrives at her destination prepared to be herself and only herself." ~ Maya Angelou Hello, yogis! Thank you for all the wonderful conversations around last week's newsletter topic: Freudenfreude. I love hearing how you flex this muscle of empathy! Let's all continue prioritizing this in our daily lives. I know it will exponentially increase our connection, our joy, and our sense of gratitude. Here's to spiraling up, my friends! If you are new to my mailing list, or last week went by in a blur, you can easily get caught up by clicking here. Today, the busyness of summer season has me thinking about adaptability. Or, maybe the better word is surrender? 🤷🏻♀️ I don't believe life happens to us. I believe we are active participants in each and every moment. But, none of us is in charge. So, despite our best plans, our thoughtful intentions, life continues to ask us to shift. And to flow. Truth? This does NOT always come easily for me. When things go sideways, I can get easily frustrated, or fall back into some not-so-kind behavior patterns. Sometimes, when I have lost awareness, I am surprised by the tone of my own voice. 😤 Not great. And, guess who I am the hardest on in times of struggle? Yep. You guessed it. That would be . . . me. 😔 Click here to learn a simple, powerful tool to help you live in flow and in harmony.
